Below are some Frequently Asked Questions to help you.
Always feel free to email me at info@KnittingGourmet.com and I reply As-Soon-As-Possible! (My Goal: 24 hours or less!)
Every once in awhile, my server reads an email address as spam and trashes it - :(
I love to travel and to have family and friends visit - so every once in awhile it may take longer for my personal response - especially during weekends and Holidays.
Thank you for your patience!

PURCHASING PATTERNS
Q: I've purchased a pattern, but my download link has not arrived! (or - it's not working)
A: PayPal has a short window (for your security) to retrieve your download. Follow PayPal's instructions and you should not have a problem. (Phones and other mobile devices may not be set up for retrieval of downloads.)
Nearly 99.9% of pattern sales go smoothly. But, if you do find yourself having trouble email me at info@KnittingGourmet.com
If your payment went through, I will have email conformation and can send you the pattern through email.
Q: I don't have a PayPal account. Can I buy patterns with a money order or check in the mail?
A: You don't have to have a PayPal account to purchase patterns. You can use PayPal with your credit card without opening an account.
(Sorry, I'm not set up to take payments through the mail.)
If you choose to send PayPal a check, it will take a few days for conformation of receipt. I then will email you the pattern directly

MISCELLANEOUS
Q: How often do you post on your Blog?
A: Usually, I post on Tuesdays. Sometimes I will skip a week, depending on my hectic schedule. Computers can take up my entire day - and I rather be KNITTING! And yes, I have lately avoided posting....I'm Knitting....:)
Q: Why do you not follow traditional sizing guidelines on needles and fit?
A: The "Standards" have never followed a typical figure. Buy a size 6 in the store, but a pattern (fabric or yarn) will tell you your measurements are a size 14! Follow that and have a size you will need to give away or wear as a bathrobe. I believe in knitters being responsible - measure a garment you like the way it fits you - then choose your size based on it's measurements.
A sweater (especially a jacket) should have a comfortable armhole depth. The "Standards" would have your armhole be snug under your arm, instead of a comfortable 2-3 inches (more for a jacket) below your arm. Oh - and everyone has short arms?
Please, PLEASE! Ignore the "measure your bust and add 2-3 inches guideline"! - That is, unless you want it big and baggy that looks like you are wearing your husbands sweater.
Your tape measure is your best friend!
And, as for needles? You can obtain the same gauge on several different sizes. Smaller needles = less stretching of the knitted fabric which ='s a happier wearer.
Q: How long does it to take to knit one of your sweaters/Jackets?
A: I don't answer that one! :)
